Times of India or Times of Pakistan
Every morning, I wake up and wait for the Times of India to give me my daily fix of new, views, happening and what not is happening in the country. But, since the agitation in Jammu and Kashmir has started my stomach churrns every morning after i go through this paper.
Times of India seems has turned into Times of Pakistan or Times of Kashmir and like the other separatist papers of Kashmir valley biased reports that smack of pro-kashmiri and anti-national agenda are filling the paper. TOI it seems supports the anti-national and anti-India agenda of the Pakistan supporters in Kashmir valley, while the paper talks of atrocities in Kashmir, it has effectively censored most of the news from Jammu.
While pictures of kashmiri protesters flying Pak flags can be found prominently, no one is talking about the anti-national agenda of the leaders in Kashmir. On Thursday, August 14, Sumit Ganguly, a US based professor has asked the BJP to stop its dogs agitating in Jammu to ensure the temperature comes down in Kashmir Valley.
The tragedy is that despite being nationalists, the people of Jammu are neither required by Kashmir and nor the Indian nation, whose media has tried to brand the agitation of the people as secular. But in Kashmir where lakhs of hindus were thrown out, temples destroyed, amarnath shrine board divested of land, where Indian flag is burnt-The government of India is begging and playing footsie to every demand of the fundamentalist Kashmiris.
But why is the Indian media, so supplicant to the Kashmiri cause, if the Indian government thinks Kashmiris have a genuine cause then they should allow a plebiscite in Kashmir and give due rights to them and let them go. But, why are the people of Jammu being made slaves to the Kashmir cause.
The Times of India on August 15 has filed a story ‘No quiet on Kashmir Front’ by Mohd Saleem Pandit, and he writes in a clear anti-India style sending the message that India will lose Kashmir, if their demands just and unjust are not met.
His each and every story smells of an impending revolution in Kashmir unless India meets their every demand. But TOI has to answer where are stories from its Jammu based stringer Anil Kotwal. Is he not filing stories, why no story from Jammu is being published on the popular agitation and whether some newsworthy happenings are taking place there.

Hi frnds ! sry to say but it is damn true. Dont you think its time for us jammuities that we should check that whether we are Indians or not. Really today I m weeping in my heart cozz today in morning I was so much enthusiastic to go for “Samiti’s Jail Bharo Aandolan”, I took part in it and get my name noticed in nowabad station, after that I came to my home to have B.fast, Lunch and Tea time snacks alltogether at 4p.m, I was so much happy that today we have done something remarkable, no we will be noticed wordwhile for it.But after watching T.V continuously till 11p.m, only one question arising in my mind that “WHETHER WE PEOPLE AT JAMMU ARE BEING CONSIDERED AS INDIANS BY OUR CENTER GOVT. OR NOT, OR WHETHER THE GOVT. THINKS ALL AT JAMMU ARE ANTI-NATIONAL ELEMENTS”. I m saying so bcozz till 11pm I could not find some good news or response from center, our National news channels like NDTV,IBN7,INDIA TV,INDIA NEWS,AAJ TAK, ZEE NEWS, these all are busy with Musharraf, Olympics, Aliens, Invisible man,Aasaram, comedy circus.Really all news channels excluding our local channels have made me to think that no other persons but we Jammuities are culprits. I thank God that I m not on the chair of P.M or on almighty God’s chair cozz I would have been God or P.M, I would have put the national news channels on Bar-be-Que, I would have publically beaten the culprits on road, may be I would have burnt the culprits along with their families on road.(sry I m getting much rude, but mind one thing I m really very depressed).
Really, this impotent Govt. at center made me to think” yaar kya hum India ka hissa hain bhi ya nahi, we used to say that we are proud to be an Indian, kya ye sarkaar hamein Indian maanti bhi hai ya nahi” .
Plz frnds ignore me if I m wrong but really yaar I m no more proud to be here, I m no more proud to be the ignored citizen of India. But I dont know why I m still saying, I still love my India, my country resides deep in my heart.

Hi SASS members, after taking part in almost every rallies, taking part in long local discussions, after consulting wid my grand parents, after consulting with my frnds and most of all after having type of response from our Govt. and National news channels, I have came to d conclusion that some big event required to make have some quick and positive response from Center Govt., like Shaheed Bhagat Singh said”Behron ko sunaney ke liye dhamaakon ki zaroorat hai”.
As we all jammuities know very well that we are not having the reqd. attention from our Govt..
We are not having proper attention from our news channels even the local public of India is not in support of us, whenever they saw us in news or news they used to say that bloody BJP and VHP is doing all this. The reason behind this is that we have not properly raised our demands in front of Govt. or Public. I mean to say we need to awake the citizens of our India fully so that they could actually know the real story behind all this and could support us. We need not to just raise the Land’s Issue but also the partiallity done with us in these 61 years. We need whole India’s attention towards us to get the proper result and to pressurise the center Govt. to take the reqd. steps soon.
I also have some plans to do this but ur all support is reqd. for this , so plz reply me soon so that I could implement the same and if u hav some more ideas or reviews plz let us all know.
