Rally postponed – Terrorist Attack in Jammu
The rally arranged by Sangharsh Samiti is postponned, More than 2,00,000 people gathered in Parade ground for the Rally to start. Sangharsh Samiti realize that its very necessary that Army and Police should concentrate on the operation that going on in Bantalab Area where three terrorists occupied a hours and caught some hostages in side. So Sangharsh Samiti announced to postponned the Rally to some other day. One call for Rally from Sangharsh Samiti and more than 2 lakhs people gathered to start the rally and it was expected that more than 4 lakhs people would be participating the rally. This was going to be a silent rally in the city and other areas of Jammu.

Curfew Imposed in Jammu Again
When government seen more the 3,25,000 people participated in Jail Bharo Andolan which includes: Male, Female and children ( 4 to 17 years – around 50,000) They Imposed curfew again in Jammu. Even police and Army were helpless, they cant put the kids in the Jails as thats Illegal but what they can do.. Even the kids from Jammu know that Governemt is becoming rude and not listening to Jammuities. How Goverment can be silent, even more than 6500 crores went into drains, You know Why India is not emerging and not growing like it should be, because of these politicians, This is a 2 minutes decision for which they have extended more than 60 days. We have Engineers from India driving NASA, We have the specialist doctors from India working as Major scientist in other countries, We have the Best IT software development companies in India, Countries like US, UK, rather whole Eurpore is offshoring software projects to India, and much more.. When Indians are leading every thing why not INDIA, becoz Indian Polotical System is very poor. Most of the Goverment organization are corrupt. You need to pay extra if you need any thing, even then after paying its not sure you will get the work done is assured timeline.
Small countries who even are not very clearly visible on the World Map are growing like anything, becoz they love their Nation and people who are driving the nation are not corrupt.
Lets see when our government will wake up and take appropriate actions.

Samiti’s Jail Bharo Andolan Updates…
More than 2,00,000 people participated in “Jail Bharo Andolan”, The atmosphere was filled with the slogans “Bum Bum Bhole” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.
We would like to put forward to the people of India that this is not which is started by any political party but by the general people of Jammu. We would like the people of other states must join hands with us to make this revolt a success. This is not against any body, this is against the week and poor givernemnt who can revoke the land under the pressure of some Politicians. If Govt is not strengthen enough to make the decisions then people need to come forward and make the decisions.
We appeal the people, the real Indians, that this is the right time to wake up. They should start the same king of rallies in their cities and should feel proud that they are fighting for a land which is going to be used for the worship of Lord Shiva.
No Political Party is included in this revolt and this is purely people oriented.

Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti’s Spokeman, Mr. Tilak Raj Sharma, said that over one lakh will court arrest on August 18 in connection with Samiti’s Jail Baro Andolan at district headquarters and other police stations of Jammu region.
Mr Sharma said the Sangarsh Samiti has been given overwhelming support by the people of Jammu and they are committed to take the ongoing agitation to its logical conclusion.

PROPER FLAG PROTOCOL
Prior to 2002, the general public of India could not fly their national flag publicly except on designated national holidays. Only government offices and higher functionaries of the government could do so. An industrialist by name Naveen Jindal filed a Public interest petition in the Delhi High Court, seeking the striking down of this restriction. Jindal apparently flew the flag atop his office building, but as this was against the National flag code, the flag was confiscated and he was informed that he was liable to be prosecuted. Jindal argued that hoisting the National flag with due decorum and honour was his right as a citizen, and a way of expressing his love for India. The case moved to the Supreme Court of India, which asked the Government of India to set up a committee to consider the matter. The Union Cabinet amended the Indian flag code with effect from 26 January 2002, allowing the general public to hoist the flag on all days of the year, provided they safeguarded the dignity, honour and respect of the flag.
In the case of Union of India v. Yashwant Sharma it was held that though the Flag Code is not a statute, restrictions under the Code need to be followed to preserve the dignity of the National Flag. The right to fly the National Flag is not an absolute right but a qualified right and should be read having regard to Article 51A of the Constitution.
Respect for the flag
Indian law says that the flag must at all times be treated with “dignity, loyalty and respect”. The “Flag Code of India – 2002”, which superseded “The Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950”, governs the display and usage of the flag. Official regulation states that the flag must never touch the ground or water, be used as a tablecloth or draped in front of a platform, cover a statue, plaque, cornerstone etc. Until 2005, the flag could not be used in clothing, uniform or costume. On 5 July 2005, the Government of India amended the code, allowing use of the flag as clothing and uniform. It however cannot be used as clothing below the waist or as undergarments. It is also prohibited to embroider the national flag and other symbols onto pillowcases or neckerchiefs.
The flag may not be intentionally placed upside down, dipped in anything, or hold any objects other than flower petals before unfurling. No sort of lettering may be inscribed on the flag.
I am bit confused now, When we have protocols and rules defined and even few people were punished also for this but why government is silent till now on this shameful incident. Why those evils who burnt India National Flag are alive now in India and roaming free in Kashmir.
Is Kashmir is not in control of Indian Government?

15th August Flag Hosting ceramony Jammu.

The Flag hosting ceramony started at Jammu and very few people attended the ceranomy conducted by J&K government, execpt some school children, Army Jawans and Police men were there.
In over 150 Independence Day functions organised by Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti (SAYSS) at all district and tehsil headquarters besides block level across the Jammu region, lakhs of people took solemn pledge to continue the ongoing agitation till the land is restored to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
There was massive participation in all these functions as the people, whose sentiments were hurt by the Government which cancelled the order transferring land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, chose not to attend any of the Government functions and instead celebrate the Independence Day under the banner of Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti.
Following these functions, huge rallies were taken out at all the places amidst raising of slogans “Zamin Wapis Le Ke Rahenge” and “Bam Bam Bole”.
The main function was held at historic Mubarak Mandi Complex in the heart of Jammu city where more than 25,000 people gathered to celebrate the Independence Day.

The Government has called for an all-party meeting on Wednesday to discuss the possible solutions of the land row in Jammu and Kashmir.
J&K Governor has also asked the Sangarsh Samiti to form a team and visit the disputed land near Baltal. Meanwhile, Sangarsh Samiti is also holding a meeting to decide on the course of action.
With the protests over the revocation of land to Amarnath shrine board refusing to die down, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi sought the opinion of Leader of Opposition L K Advani on the issue on Tuesday.
It seems the Government is desperately looking for a way out to solve the crisis situation.
National Conference patron and former chief minister, Farooq abdullah, has already retracted his suggestion that the land be leased out for two months each year to the shrine board. But, the Congress wants the BJP to adopt a more conciliatory note.

I agree with Sanjay Gupta’s comments posted above. These politicians thinks that the people are blind, and they treat us like sheeps literally. whatever and whenever they want – they do that but this will not happen any more in India (at least in Jammu). We are going to protest against this and not leave the stone unturned. Really after a long time Jammu people have felt that they are being exploited. I am happy that people of Jammu came to know the truth of this politics and raised their voice together against this. We should not giveup in between and its written in Holy “Geeta” – Never give up when you are fighting for a good reason and this time its for all those people who will be visitng thousands of mile to see shri Amarnath God and they could take a stoppage and rest in between if this land is allocated. so people stating in other states should also join hands with us to make this revolt a success.

Where are the responses to the fight the people of Jammu, let me say it differently….HINDUS OF JAMMU?
They have been struggling for what was a justified decision by the former governor in alloting 100 acres to Amarnath shrine board and which was opposeds by the communal and anti national people of kashmir, resulting in violaent protests leading to many deatrhs and the scared govt revoked the earlier decision..(a usual sign of bowing down to minoritism in India )
The result is thr 4 all to see today.
The state has been sharp[ly divided communally. what was always understood and never spoken has now come out.
Muslims cannot tolerate anything good for Hindus in a muslim majority place. chk out this the world over!

In simpler words its just 20Km x 20Km place in a state which has total area of the State is 22,22,236 sq. kms including 78114 sq kms under the illegal occupation of Pakistan and 42,685 sq kms under that of China, of which Pakistan illegally handed over 5130 sq kms to China!Thats tolerence and brotherhood for you!

Why did the govt submit to these successionists so meekly?And then we talk of nation,patriotism and strength.The reason is clear,the political parties give importance to Vote banks than nation.This is disgusting and shameful.If the amount of people protesting on the roads and the extent of agitation is what makes the decisions of the govt,then the people of jammu have shown their resolve much more strongly for protesting for more than amonth by now,and mind it,they are carrying the national flag and not a pakistani flag.

Recently, Kashmir was gripped by protests against the transfer of forest land to the SASB to set up facilities for Amarnath pilgrims on “environment grounds” and also because land cannot be transferred to any organization(Indian) under Article (impotency) 370. Kashmiris said India(A Foreign nation) is trying to change the regional demography. These enlightened souls did not know the meaning of demography when the mass exodus of innocent pundits took place.
The Goverment bent backwards( as usual) to please its core constituency(Terrorists). It took the land back from SASB as only Hindu faith is concerned (Hindus don’t respect their faith, others follow suit).
People of Jammu(Hindus,Muslims) are defying curfew, injuries,water,power cuts as they protest. We need your support(Indians). Join us in our protest along with our brothers who are protesting in Jammu Defeat the un-Indian elements so that the honour of the Triclour can be protected.
We are not asking you to go to Jammu and feel the heat. We are not forcing you to support us. Really I m very angry by d kind of behaviour from d center govt. Can’t dey see d sufferings of us jammuities.We r burning for last one n a half month and center gave no response but when srinagar ppl started aggetation everyone frm center trembled. Srinagar ppl did strike for 6-7 days, dey called “pakistan zindabad” dey took pakistan’s flag wid thm abused center and India and dey got d land but we r fighting for so long wid d slogan “bharat mata ki jai”, waving our flag and even not abusing pakistan and almost no response. Harpreet, I think J should not be separate from K, They (Some wicked polititians) already needs that the Jammu and kashmir should needs to be two separate states and once this is done they could easily rule kashmir. This is just the Divide and Rule policy thrown by those politicians. Otherwise what else should be the reason of revoking the land which is allocated for a holy reason. They know Hindus will oppose (this happened) and some how Muslims will get hurted in this whole drama and once this is done, they know muslims will also stand against and similar things happened since last few days in Kashmir. So this was expected and going as per their plan, I think people should not lose their temper (either Hindu or Muslim) and they should not think that this is the was against each other, rather this should be a joint was against them who are making fun out of this.

As Jammu remained on the edge, the Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti, spearheading the ongoing stir over
the land transfer issue, today extended the shutdown in the entire region till August 20 and announced it would launch a fill-the-jail agitation from next week.
These decisions were taken at a meeting of the Samiti, an amalgam of 35 political, social and religious outfits, in Jammu, its convenor Leela Karan Sharma told reporters.
He said a “jail bharo andolan (fill-the-jail agitation)” would be launched from August 18 and over one lakh protesters would court arrest in the region on that day.
Sharma said the Samiti had extended the bandh (general strike) in the region till August 20 to mount pressure on the Centre for fulfilment of its demands.
He accused some Kashmiri leaders of trying to confuse the Centre on the issue and asserted the Samiti would not accept anything less than restoration of land to the Amarnath Shrine Board.

BJP is “unapologetic” for its role in the Amarnath agitation and it feels that the protests in Jammu were the result of accumulation of grievances.
In reply to allegations levelled by one of the parties supporting the UPA against the BJP for “fuelling communal tensions” in Jammu and Kashmir in the all-party meet on the issue, the saffron party’s representative shot back saying that there is nothing to be apologetic about its support to the Amarnath agitation, sources said.
“We are unapologetic about our role in the Amarnath agitation. It is the response of the masses due to the accumulation of their grievances. If parties supporting UPA can plead for organisation like SIMI why can’t we stand with the masses,” BJP’s representative Arun Jaitley told the meeting headed by Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil.
The sources said that the UPA’s supporting party had reservation to a senior BJP leader proclaiming in a rally in the capital that the saffron party would hold agitation on the issue across the country.
The UPA ally claimed it would further fuel the tension, the sources said.
BJP on Wednesday demanded initiation of the delimitation process in the state of Jammu and Kashmir claiming it to be a “constitutionally approved process which is long due in the state.”

Traffic in the National Capital Region and train movement along the Delhi-Jaipur route were affected on Wednesday morning with BJP and VHP activists blocking several roads as part of their nationwide ‘chakka jam’ over the Amarnath land row.
The blockade, which lasted for two hours from 9 am, left many office-goers stranded across the region and affected vehicular movement on all major roads and intersections.
Train movement on the Delhi-Jaipur route was also halted for some time due to the protest.
Traffic was affected on the busy Vikas Marg, ITO, Akshardham, Deepali Chowk, Wazirpur, Ashram, Moolchand, Delhi-Ghaziabad road, Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Delhi-Noida-Delhi Express Highway, Delhi Cantonment, Uttam Nagar and Dhaula Kuan besides other places.
Carrying BJP and VHP flags, slogan-shouting supporters, including women activists of the Sangh Parivar started assembling at major intersections at about 9 am and blocked traffic as part of their two-hour agitation.
The activists, however, exempted school buses, ambulances and vehicles belonging to medical and essential services from the purview of their blockade.
Long queues of vehicles were seen on roads for a quite sometime and the rain which lashed across the Capital added more trouble for police personnel in managing traffic.
Sangh Parivar has called for a nationwide road and rail blockade over the Amarnath land row.
The BJP agitators have stopped Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express in Agra.
Also, VHP agitators have blocked National Highway No 2 in Ferozabad in Uttar Pradesh. Other places like Meerut are also not untouched. The VHP protestors have stopped traffic in all major junctions in the city.
The VHP workers are enforcing a chakka jam in Lucknow too.
Early on Wednesday, these workers started sitting on railway tracks which led to some delays in train services. However, police managed to disperse them after a while.
Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh is also bearing the brunt as VHP protestors have blocked roads despite a high court ban.
In Mumbai also, VHP workers have stopped traffic on SG Road in Malad. And in Delhi, Sangh Parivar agitators have blocked the Delhi-Noida Expressway.

In Himachal Pradesh, the two-hour protest ended peacefully. However, schoolchildren and people heading to offices had to face traffic jams.
“The protest was more or less peaceful. No untoward incident was reported from anywhere in the state,” Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) S R Mardi said.
Ganesh Dutt, president of the BJP’s Shimla unit, claimed that the protest was successful as the traffic was blocked for more than two hours on the Chandigarh-Shimla national highway near the Victory Tunnel.

First of all I would like to Thanks each n everyone with us in this movement.
A lot of lives have been sacrificed, don’t count them on numbers, don’t say that 6-7 people have sacrificed, we should say a lot of families are sacrificing, cozz if a person sacrifices his life for us that means he has put his whole family on fire for the movement.
Today I m very upset by the role of some national news channels. We can see some news channel like IBN7, India TV merely playing any role in this mass movement, they r just busy with filmstars, GURUs, retelecast of SAAS BAHU serials or teasing local lives by playing games on them , these news channel r much more interested in their TRPs . If they show something on their channels abt this movement in Jammu, they just display as we jammuities are ruining the development, ruining the lives, like we doing something anti- national here. I m really harassed by their roles they r playing in this.Thanks to local news channels and channels like NDTV.
Now its been about 48-49 days of this movement, several families have sacrificed.
And if we all remember we were noticed or commented by our central govt. when in Srinagar the people started aggetations, they started waving pak’s flag, they started raising slogans like “india murdabaad”. Only after that the central govt. was shook.
And we were waving our national flag, saying vadey matram, bharat mata ki jai, for more than one n half month but no d**** in central govt. even bothered about us.
Today I was listening to the speech by our PM, about his and his govt.’s achievements in past 4 yrs.He just depicted that he has been a success in these last 4 yrs., but I think we all know this very well that wht have been done in this tenure of this govt.
Our PM said that we condemns the act of blasts in Ahemdabad and Banglore, Pakistan is doing wrong by this kind of acts, its spoiling all our peace process and ruining our relations with our neighbour Pak.
I just wanna ask him really” Kya life itni sasti hai unke liye”.Our govt. just count that blah- blah no. of people died in blasts, blah-blah no. of our soldiers killed on border.
But they don’t see that the persons who have been killed in blasts or soldiers who were killed on borders were someone’s father, brother ,someone’s husband. In blasts where a person dies, we should count him as the families have been killed in blasts cozz in blasts or firing not only some no.s of persons have died , with them their whole family have died who r now in their homes and their only earning hand have been brutally killed in the firing or blasts.
PLZ wake up before its too late !

We should request the Media Channels that they should join hands with us and let the people know the true face of truth. I would like to ask some questions here :-
1)How can some army officials , policemen, politicians, let our NATIONAL FLAG BURN IN PUBLIC by some persons.
2) Can anybody of any nationality except an INDIAN can abuse or burn his own country’s flag like this or bring ashame to his country like ppl are doing in kashmir.
3)Why no body broadcasted d news of opening fire by a PSO of PDP party at Srinagar, where some CRPF jawans were killed.
4)Who is ruling d govt. of INDIA, is their so govt. or LAW or only some anti-national dogs r on ruling seats.
I think this kind of solutions must be implemented in a condition like this:-
1)Indian Govt. should arrange for the ppl at kashmir a trip to muzaffrabaad, our govt should arrange transport for them like buses and trucks and dey should be said to pack their bags and hav a trip to muzaffrabaad with their whole falimy, and when they cross LOC the gates should be closed and govt. should say “bbye” and never retun. !
2)Leaders like UMAR, Mehbooooooba, Gilani, SOZ, FArooq,MIR, and all along their families should be sent to kalapani. AND we will see d condition in state is improving day-by-day.
3)Our honourable Governor who is believed to be a troop of PDP should also be packed in mehbooba’s purse and should b thrown in sea.
4)Governors like Mr. Jaghmohan, KPS Gill, Modi, or ME myself(cozz I m very angry at this time) should be appointed as Governor of J&K.
5)Both d Jammu and Kashmir should b partioned , jammu should b left for ppl like us wid a patriotic heart and Kashmir should consists of those Kasmiris wid about 10 times more troops and they should be d most savageous kind of troops of INDIA, Punjab police with full authority should be posted to kashmir with full powers to do whatever reqd. to kill terrorists.
These r d one of d best solutions in my mind at this time as I m angry alot…waise aur bahut kuch hai mere Dimaag mein par sorry cant write them down cozz its a public site and I cant write any bad language here !

We are continously looking on TV channels that people in Kashmir are waving the Pakistani flag and showing disrespect to Indian Flag and even some hoardings stating “INDIA SHOULD QUIT KASHMIR”. It means that they dont love India and dont want to live in India, which is a shame and slap on Ruling party’s Face, If I will be PM/President of India and looking such disrespect for the country i could have taken strict actions or might have followed the dictator policies and give the order to Army to kill all those who are the cause of this dividend demand. Every one in India has the right to put his/her voice across but They are saying send us to Pakistan, Make us seperate… this in not democracy. This is like “JIS THALI MAIN KHAYA USSI MEIN SHED KAR DIYA”.

The Impotent Central govt. and his stooge, Governor Vohra, lifts curfew in Srinagar, so that the anti national separatists can hoist pakistani flag and burn Indian flag, but curfew is imposed in Jammu so that the nationalists can not hoist Indian Flag. Sometimes it makes me believe that our country is at the mercy of Jaichands who can sell their motherland for their short sighted petty gains.

The curfew imposed by the goverment cant’t stop the jammuties ,the silance on the part of jammuties now reach its extreme and brust like a giant valcano which is sleeping over last five decade. Social Boycote of the leaders of the NC and Cogress should be done who are resbosible for whole of the episode, the people of kasmir should stop playing in the hands of leaders who are not concerned with their problem but only use them as there vote bank to be in power to rule upon them and put them under clouds each and every time on various issue.

Yes, You are right that our religion does not teach us to fight, but what else we could do, we are not left with any other option. We were asking Goverment very politely that please give that land as that is going to use for the worship of God, but they never listen to and not replied but people of Jammu shown litle resent by buring some tyres they suddenly shaked and sent a delegation to jammu and conducted meeting, so you suggest what else you could if you would be there.
We appeal to people of India to come forward and put your suggestion on this website as this web blog is by the Jammu people and read by jammu people. Ravindra, unfortunately – few people are doing and all are paying for this. More over, the unfortunate is that – Pakistan is taking advantage of this. As per the electronic media – many terrorists entered India since this agitation was going on. Jammu Terrorist attack, Delhi Bomb Blasts twice in 15 days seems to be result of this. Pakistan is doing the same – they know its very easily to do communal roits in India and they are doing the same. We feel very helpless when we see such instances where few people from India gets shame to Nation and we cant do anything. if Indian Govt could have punished these people, i am sure no one else could think to do this in future, but Govt (ha ha) which is not stable – Always thinking for the votes, elections.. etc etc. could not get India on top.
